The Basic Life Support Training for Healthcare Providers course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals with the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings and is a mandatory requirement for all healthcare professionals to meet regulation and licensing requirements set out by the health licensing bodies in the UAE.
The course is delivered in a classroom format with one of our authorized AHA BLS instructors present to enhance hands on skills performance and facilitate the learning experience. BLS for Healthcare Providers was developed by the AHA for healthcare professionals and teaches the 2015 ECC Resuscitation Guidelines. Effective from 6th of June, no CME hours will be provided for BLS as it is now mandatory for all healthcare professionals.
The AHA’s BLS for Healthcare Providers Online Part One Course is web-based and accessible 24 hours a day, providing a flexible alternative to classroom training. Through case-based scenarios, interactive activities and videos, this course teaches the concepts of both single-rescuer and team basic life support.
This is a blended learning course where participants can complete the online Part 1 theory at their own pace and at a time convenient to them. Part Two is offered in the classroom with practical session and skills evaluation by one of our authorized AHA BLS instructors.
This online course is a time-efficient solution for busy healthcare professionals who require the flexibility and convenience of online learning combined with a streamlined practical and skills testing session.
